Warwick van Ede
LAWYERBEc LLM I Accredited Specialist Property LawWarwick has been a lawyer since 1990, with his legal practice primarily divided between strata law, property law and litigation. Highly qualified he is also a NSW Law Society Accredited Specialist in Property Law, recognising his expertise in this area of the law. In 2021 Warwick was selected to serve on the Property Law Committee of the Law Society of NSW.
His extensive property law work includes advising clients on all aspects of property development, commercial and retail leasing, residential and commercial sales and purchases.
Warwick also has significant experience advising strata and community developments, with a focus on NSW, providing assistance to developers including advising on collective sales, drafting by-laws, community and building management statements, and all other aspects of strata law.
An experienced litigator of 30 years, Warwick has appeared, often as advocate, in all Courts and Tribunals across NSW representing clients at NCAT, the Supreme Court, and Federal Court of Australia and in lower Courts.
Warwick has been a regular and passionate presenter of continuing education for the Legal Profession in the area of property law.
Outside of work, Warwick is a telephone counsellor at Lifeline – a voluntary role.
